I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue only 7 months ago but had been having symptoms in one form or another since the age of eight.
Since the diagnosis I have had one disappointment after another with products touted to be just as good as "regular" food. I am convinced most of these fellow sufferers have been so long without wheat-based food, they can't remember what "normal" tastes like.
That said, I LOVE this cookies. If I picked one off a buffett table at a potluck, I would not know they are gluten free. So YUMMY!
I made the first box according to directions (I used real milk and butter because I do not have dairy allergies - soy milk and gluten free margarine are recommended if you do have this issue). I rushed right back to the store and bought more. I added a teaspoon of cream of tarter to the batter and rolled the balls of cookie dough in a mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Viola! Snickerdoodles.
Now I am planning to try their other gluten free mixes.

I have a son with multiple life threatening food allergies, and these cookies are a life-saver. I don't know how many times I've pulled out this mix to make cookies to decorate at school parties, etc. Actually, last year I used multiple boxes to make over 200 cut-out Christmas cookies for a school and church party. No one knew or could tell that these were "special" cookies, and we used Cherrybrook Kitchen Vanilla icing (colored) and sprinkles to do the whole "Christmas Cookie" thing. These are perfect!

This company has great items, especially for children on a gluten-free or gluten-free + dairy-free diet. I have one special diet child and one who doesn't have to be on one, and both adore these cookies. They are great to take to school too. I suggest trying all of Cherrybrook's gluten-free items, especially if you have a mixed household -- no one will feel slighted with these!

I just bought my second case! I have found if I put the dough in the refrig. , I can roll them out , and make all the fun shapes my kids use to get with gluten. Best of all they kept asking , do these have gluten in them?

I'm gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, and have many sensitive food allergies and can't find these at any supermarket. So I'm very excited to be able to order these on Amazon. I love Cherrybrook because it tastes great and allows me to eat baked goods that I normally can't.
