Poor quality July 18, 2008 Chen Shu (Southbury, CT USA) The Sunbeam that I received is poorly made. When closed, there is a wide gap between cover and bottom part. I used it to make bread once. The bread was dry and the top of the bread collapsed which is probably due to the fact the machine doesn't close tightly. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to others.
Easy to use Bread Maker July 13, 2008 John R. English This is an excellent bread maker at a great price. The unit has a streight forward user LCD menu system. Compaired to other bread makers that our family has had this one takes up much less counter space and its operation is very quite. The user printed manual is marginal at best.
Good machine to make dough without smearing hands July 12, 2008 R. Hu I use it mainly for making dough, and it works great! I have not tried backing yet, so no comments on that function.
great July 5, 2008 Robert Ullman (Talent, Or.) Received the bread machine before pomised. Have made 4 wonderful loaves of bread and they were perfect.
good machine July 5, 2008 helenc Sunbeam 5891 2-Pound Programmable Breadmaker
This machine is very good and simple to use. I've had a much more expensive bread machine, and the output from the Sunbeam is comparable in quality. I read the reviews on Amazon, which were helpful, so I ordered the Better Homes and Gardens book of breads and it also is well worth the money.
