It is hard to find a wheat free cookie that has the right flavor with no after taste. I have tried other Pamela's Products and did not think the flavor of the chocolate chunk cookie was that great. The Pecan Shortbread really helps the flavor of the product out making it taste like what a remember "real" cookies tasting like. This cookie is not likely to make it in one piece though because it is a crumbly texture.
My advice? If you want cookies that taste like cookies go with this one. It is the best I've found on the market that is wheat free. If you want a cookie that has the soft chewy texture go with the regular Chocolate Chunk rather than the Pecan Shortbread.

It's hard to believe these are wheat-free. The texture is like the shortbread cookies I remember from long ago. And the taste is incredible! The chocolate chunks within the cookies are top-quality as well.

these are, by far, the most delicious wheat free cookies i have ever eaten. they are addictive. 24 sounds like a lot, but you won't be able to stop eating them!
