Simple & delicious December 11, 2007 P. Duncan (Chicago, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great-tasting, simple snack bar. Just what I was looking for - no artificial sweeteners, no strange-tasting protein powders, no dried fruit, essentially just seeds & rice syrup as the "glue".
These are great! September 1, 2007 P.F.C. (Madison, WI) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I'm not a big fan of most energy/health/whatever bars, because they're either way too sweet, or else just have weird protein-powder aftertastes. Sometimes I reluctantly scarf them down just because they're convenient and healthy, but I don't enjoy them.
This particular bar, however, I love. It seems to consist of just a variety of tasty seeds pressed together with a tiny amount of honey. Quite interesting, not too sweet, no off-flavors. And it's great for those who need a low sugar, high fiber, high protein snack. I actually look forward to eating one.
A small caution, however: the seeds are all extremely small, but some of them are quite hard, so if you have dental problems you might want to avoid this bar. I have excellent teeth, but I'm still finding itsy bitsy seeds in random corners of my molars for a good five minutes after I finish one.
Chewy goodness May 1, 2007 Reviewer 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Oskri bars are truly delectable natural snacks made in Wisconsin with shelf life of approximately 24 months. They retail at about $1.50 a piece in organic food stores. There is a good variety of them with different names and made of different dried fruit, seeds and nuts. I haven't met one of the variety that I didn't like.
Edit: Cashew bar isn't that great (and I do like cashews).
