| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Sanyo's micro-computerized rice cooker also acts as a warmer so even if your rice has finished cooking before you're ready to serve dinner, it will stay warm without cooling. The rice cooker and warmer has a 3.5-cup capacity, making it ideal for smaller portions or for individuals or couples. An extra-thick inner cooking pot is made of easy-clean, Titanium-coated, nonstick and has a rounded bottom for maximum heat distribution. A 24-hour clock has a preset timer that allows you to set it and go. - Retractable Cord and Carrying Handle

My third and best rice cooker. August 8, 2008 A. Kim Cooks evenly and the interior rice pot is very thick. They did not cut corners when manufacturing this product.
Does the job effectively.. July 23, 2008 Subbu I got this product as a birthday gift from one of my friends and I must admit this is one hella useful product. I have been using this for over an year now and it works as supposed to be. The timer is very useful. I can set it up and leave home or do whatever and it cooks at the set time. very handy. It makes the perfect rice everytime even though you add little more water. Just remember to clean. One thing this cooker can't do or I haven't stumbled upon is make the rice into a semisolid kinda way. I like it that way for some special recipes. But its never intended for that..So i don't care. I would defnitely recommend this to anybody looking for convenience and great rice everytime.
happy user for several months April 26, 2008 R. Lee (VA USA) Bought this several months ago and have used it about once a week. I've only cooked medium-grain white rice, and on both that setting and on "quick" the result was perfect Japanese-style sticky rice. It's not terribly fast -- about 40 min on regular and 30 on quick -- but in my experience rice cookers rarely are. A few other reviewers have complained of steam and water overflow problems, which I have never noticed; perhaps they overfilled or used too much water?
