Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
All pastas are not created equal. bionaturae organic pastas from Italy are made with the artisanal techniques of long ago. The difference between a traditionally made pasta like bionaturae and an industrially made pasta is easy to detect. The pale color and porous surface of our pasta is different because we extrude the shapes through traditional bronze dies instead of Teflon dies and dry our pasta slowly at low temperatures. This process is slower and more costly, but the difference in quality is worth it. bionaturae pasta is made by a third generation of a family of pasta makers. We offer semolina, whole wheat, egg noodles and gluten free pastas. Take time out of your day to sit down and enjoy a delicious dinner made from bionaturae organic pastas from Italy. For best results use bionaturae organic  canned tomatoes from Italy for your sauce.

5 out of 5 stars The best GF pasta I've tasted   April 19, 2010
M. A. Davlin (Twin Falls, ID USA)
I'm still surprised at how much this tastes like durum wheat penne. With sauce, it tastes exactly like its wheat counterpart, and there are no texture issues. It reheats well and tastes just fine cold. It doesn't take forever to cook, either, like some rice pastas do. Gluten-free folks will never have to settle again!

5 out of 5 stars Best gluten-free pasta we've found; even my husband loves it   March 23, 2010
B. Seeman
A girlfriend of mine has been feeding her family gluten-free for quite some time so when I asked her to recommend some brands for pasta, this was at the top of her list. Many of the gluten-free products (as you've probably discovered) are really sort of 'mealy'. This truly tastes almost like regular semolina penne pasta and my husband is fairly picky; he can't tell a difference. My kids devour it. This is definitely a better price than Whole Foods and the Subscribe & Save gives another 15% discount. We add a little olive oil to the boiling water and then a little bit more after draining and we do not rinse it.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT Gluten free Pasta   March 15, 2010
rka (Indiana)
We recently went gluten free due to my daughter's health diagnosis and we were huge pasta lover's. Everything that we looked and tried didn't taste as good as regular pasta. Then we found bionaturae and LOVE IT! It holds it's shape and taste and you really don't even notice a difference. We highly recommend it!

5 out of 5 stars Great texture. light on the stomach and gluten free!   February 21, 2010
Sincerely Yours
So you find one member of your family has gluten issues and the rest of the family loves pasta. Finally, we found a gluten free pasta that pleases the taste buds of those pasta lovers and yet addresses the gluten issue.

We found this pasta brand was quick to cook, very light in texture, tasty but still had the pasta-consistency (not soggy and did notfall a part) you have gotten used to.

The pasta is tasty enough that even the pasta lovers in our family are prepared to switch permanently to this gluten-free brand!

5 out of 5 stars Isn't it "real"?   February 12, 2010

This is one of the very few Gluten Free pastas that is so close to havng all the properties of "real" pasta that it's worth the extra expense. Most gf pastas can't be reheated without falling apart into a gluey mess. One that can be made into Mac/Cheese and not be a solid mass. At our house we even have been able to enjoy cold pasta salads again (though it needs to be eaten in a day or two). Have served this to non celiacs who have asked if it wasn't "real" and are amazed that it's not traditional wheat pastas. The texture is delicate but firm enough to hold it's shape. The taste is slightly different than traditional but with sauce (even a light one)you'd never know. Leave it to the Italians...they know their pasta...gf or not!
